About the University of Texas at San Antonio

Since it's start in 1969, UTSA has grown into the second-largest campus in the University of Texas system, and is one of the state's fastest growing universities. Currently, over 27,000 students are pursuing degrees at one of three UTSA campuses: the main campus on Loop 1604, the Downtown Campus, or the Institute of Texan Cultures. New degree programs are being developed every year as the school continues to remodel existing buildings and construct new facilities, all meant to provide the opportunities and resources to make every student success in their educational goals.
